Mt Eden Tennis Club

Mount Eden Tennis Club has been here, by the memorial gates at the end of Poronui Street, since 1923. We are in a picturesque setting with trees on two sides, our historic stone walls on the third and looking north to a view of the mountain close by.

We are an active senior club of about 100 with a large junior section (over 250). We have 10 senior interclub teams and 28 junior teams.

We have resident coaching staff able to help anyone from those just beginning to those wanting to polish that backhand topspin. We cater for beginners who want to learn, through to the competitive souls who are the backbone of our interclub presence.

There are planned activities most days of the week, but almost always a court free for that private occasion, so we don't run a booking board.
