The Finland-born comic genius Ismo Leikola is set to make a comeback in New Zealand this May, playing Auckland and Wellington in support of his brand new show, 'Watch Your Language'.

Dubbed as Laugh Factory's 'Funniest Person in the World' (2014), Ismo is an ultimate observer who's able to make people see familiar things anew through his unique perspective. Since entering the comedy scene in 2002, he's written and starred in two seasons of his own sitcom 'Ismo', and has become one of the top performing comedians today.

In December 2015, Ismo began playing packed-out venues across the US, Canada, Australia, Mexico and Europe. Within his spanning career, he's performed at some of the biggest comedy festivals including 'Just For Laughs' (Montreal, Toronto, Sydney and Bermuda), 'Sydney Comedy Festival', 'Melbourne Comedy Festival', 'Edinburgh Fringe' and 'The NZ International Comedy Festival'.

Apart from his viral performance—which garnered over 72 million YouTube views—on 'Conan' in 2018, Ismo has also made special appearances on the acclaimed American TV shows 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' and NBC's 'Bring The Funny' and 'Last Call with Carson Daly'. Earlier this year, he teamed up with Merriam Webster to release a digital comedy series of videos roasting the English language.
