Update: Deftones regretfully announce that they will be postponing their NZ headline show—scheduled for Sunday, March 15 at The Trusts Arena in Auckland—due to the cancellation of the Download Festival in Australia.
All existing tickets will remain valid for the new show, so please stay tuned while they work to reschedule the date. Patrons unable or unwilling to attend the new dates can obtain a refund from the point of purchase.

Since forming in 1988, Deftones (whose members are Chino Moreno, Stephen Carpenter, Frank Delgado, Abe Cunningham and Sergio Vega) have sold more than 10 million records worldwide. Their genre-defying performances often distill movements of cinematic rock, psychedelia, and shoegaze into an inimitable sound independent of boundaries. Skating past genre lines, they remain as one of rock's most influential and impactful acts to date.
Within their spanning career, Deftones have released three platinum albums 'Adrenaline' (1995), 'Around the Fur' (1997) and 'White Pony' (2000). Meanwhile, their 2003's 'Deftones' has been certified gold by RIAA, following their countless critical plaudits which include a Grammy Award nod in 2001. Moreover, the triumphant release of 'Diamond Eyes' (2010) and 'Koi No Yokan' (2012) has been succeeded by their 2016's 'Gore' which peaked at #2 on the US Billboard Top 200—marking the band's highest chart position in 13 years.
In 2018, Deftones have curated, launched, presented, and headlined their own festival, 'Dia De Los Deftones'. Selling out both installments to date, the eclectic lineups hosted everyone from Future and Chvrches, to Gojira and Megan Thee Stallion.
