The world's greatest surf band will perform at one of new Zealand's best surf locations later this year.
The Beach Boys have announced a special one-off concert at Mt Maunganui, as part of their 50th anniversary world tour.
Celebrating 50 years of "fun, fun, fun", concert-goers can expect to hear all of the band's best hits, including Surfin' USA, I Get Around, Good Vibrations, Help Me Rhonda, California, and Wouldn't It Be Nice.
Original Beach Boy and lead vocalist Mike Love will be joined by Beach Boy veteran Bruce Johnston on vocals and keyboards. Rounding out the band are Jeffery Foskett (guitar/vocals), Randell Kirsch (bass/vocals), Tim Bonhomme (keyboards/vocals), John Cowsill (percussion/vocals) and Scott Totten (guitar/vocals).
The Beach Boys were last here in 2007 for stadium concerts in Auckland and New Plymouth.
