Solidarity for Ukraine.
Our hearts are with Ukraine right now. While the war there is half a world away, and can at times feel so distant, we know that the Ukrainian community here are aching. We have created this class as a way for us to come together, to share our hearts and practice as a gesture of solidarity with the people of Ukraine.
The class will be donation-based, with a suggested minimum donation of $30, and all funds gathered will be given to the Ukrainian Society of the South Island. Their proceeds are going to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, such as paramedic support. The Ukrainian Society have set up a give a little page which you can donate directly to, or you can bring cash to us on the day.
This class will be from 2-3:30pm on Saturday July 2nd, at The Tannery Metropolitan Lounge, co-taught by Nataliia, Olga and other teachers from both Grassroots and Adapted. Please book in serenity as usual or email us, info@grassrootsyoga.co.nz, if not a member so we can guarantee you a spot.
