Our culture is rife with options for addiction. If you are looking to change your relationship with Alcohol (or any addictive substance or compulsive behaviours eg cannabis, food) we will be looking at the mechanisms that underlie and reinforce addiction, to better understand them and bring awareness to what has most likely become unconscious behaviour. From there we will discuss strategies and ways to make meaningful change. Whether you would like to be “a bit more” sober and in control, or perhaps it’s time to stop completely, Yoga Nidra is a powerful practice to support your intention for sobriety.

The discourse will cover:

Strategies to Restore proper power relationship with thoughts.
Managing Stress - often the reason for external “resources” used for coping.
Intention - You will choose your own powerful and personalised intention.

The second half of the evening is a Yoga Nidra practice which is recorded for you to access for 4 weeks to support your sobriety intention. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that takes you through a series of awareness techniques to bring you to the deepest level of relaxation on the edge of sleep.

Privacy is essential and this will be a safe, non-judgemental space. Group sharing is not required, this is your personal journey. Anything you choose to share will be kept in confidence and is expected of all attendees as part of participation in this event.

Veronica is passionate about the ability to gently yet powerfully change your life with a regular Yoga Nidra practice. Trained in the Integrative Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra as a certified facilitator of this method she has been offering regular weekly practices on Zoom and in the studio, and specialised workshops and programs to support Mental Health and wellbeing.
