As part of the public programme for 'I Think You Like Me, But I've Been Wrong About These Things Before' Artspace Aotearoa presents 'Paloma and the Do of Death' an original marionette comedy, written and constructed by Tom Tuke.
The show captures what happens when an elderly castaway, Paloma, washes up on the same island as the Grim Reapers' Inaugural Staff Party. She must walk the fine line between certain death, and uncertain Deaths. Within the chaos, are themes of love, loss and revolution. The puppets and theatre are constructed from driftwood, pallet wood and other found material.
