Tēnā tātou katoa,
We welcome new and old friends to join our kaupapa to support both Ihumātao and Mau Whenua in their continued fights for tino rangatiratanga.
We are a solidarity rōpū who recognise Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori calls for whenua to be protected and returned.
This open hui is a chance to hear updates on both Ihumātao and Mau Whenua, and to make plans for our next steps of education, resistance and political activism.
We are always encouraging new members, so please come along if you have a passion and commitment to decolonisation in Aotearoa. We are here for the long-run and learning together as we go. We believe that everybody has a part to play in this whawhai (struggle), and so we ask that you come along, share whakaaro (thoughts), and whatever capacity or skills that you are willing to share. Together, we will shape our next steps on the journey to see Māori land returned.
Kai will be provided, but more is always welcome. This is a tamariki and animal-friendly space, so please bring whānau and pets!
Nau mai, haere mai!
Accessibility: The main entrance to the venue is wheelchair accessible via a ramp on either side of the front door.
