Pro-ject is an opportunity for new creatives, of all backgrounds and ages, to take the stage and introduce themselves to their community in an environment that is accepting, encouraging and responsive. From illustrators to singers to activists to programmers, all types of creative work are valued and celebrated.
Our artists/creatives will present or perform for 15 minutes each, after which there will be a panel discussion on creativity, inspiration and industry, plus a Q&A session where you can ask the panelists about their practice, their kaupapa, and their experiences. When all of your questions have been answered, you can mix and mingle while you browse merchandise by our creative's in our mini-marketplace!
This event is drug and alcohol-free, and is intended to be a friendly, safe and welcoming sharing space for artists and attendees alike.
The first Pro-ject event of 2020 will take place on 5 February; and will be a Pride Festival special edition focusing on Tāmaki Mākaurau's queer/LGBTQIA+/takatāpui communities.
