The Pah Homestead is a historic home located in the suburb or Hillsborough in Auckland, New Zealand. It is owned by the Auckland Council and is currently used as an art gallery. It houses the James Wallace Art Trust's collection of New Zealand art.
James Wallace is a pre-eminent art collector and patron of the arts in New Zealand. Libby will tour you around the collection explaining works. At lunchtime, we'll visit the Pah Cafe and discuss inspiring artworks over coffee. Maximum group size 15. Please register before attending to ensure you are allocated a place.
What to bring: Bring a notebook if you wish to record any thoughts or learning. Your course fee includes a $5 entry donation to Pah Homestead. Bring some cash for coffee and a sandwich. The grounds of the homestead are beautiful so you may wish to wear comfortable shoes and explore the grounds after the gallery tour.
Libby is teaching a range of art courses at Selwyn Community Education. Please search our website or Eventfinda for details.
