Lunchtime Sketch Clubs

Presented as part of Winter Wander, this August prepare for something different on your lunch break. Artists and their muses are taking over shop windows in and around Cashel Mall, and we’re inviting you to take part! Stop, take a breath, and pick up a pencil - all materials provided, all skill levels welcomed!

Easels and art equipment supplied with thanks to Gordon Harris The Art and Graphic Store, feel free to bring your own additional supplies!

Saturday 3rd August 12pm - 2pm: Mistress of the tall tale and masterful mayhem; Constance Mayhem delights taking her audience to unexpected destinations! Join her in The Crossing air bridge above Colombo St where she’ll be serving up flights of fancy and caffeine dreams for you to capture on paper.

Tuesday 6th August 11:30am - 1:30pm: The elegant and enchanting Bonita Danger Doll will be gracing the Ballantynes Department Store window.

Wednesday 7th August 11:30am - 1:30pm: Scorpio Books will be hosting Aurora Borealis - a versatile drag artist and multi-talented costumier who has been performing since 2016. This chameleon-like queen will be channeling the fairy-drag mother that we all need. She’ll be posing, serving looks and sweetening the sting in the tale.

Saturday 10th August 12pm - 2pm: The lovely Angelah Rose will be our live model in the window at Ballantynes Department Store.
